【Book Review 10】

I read a book whose title is "Florence Nightingale". She is a famous woman in nursery. One hundred and fifty years ago, hospitals were always dirty, and patients used the same sheets and some even shared beds. But woman was to change everything. That woman is Nightingale. She was very rich, so she could afford to study enough. She had an experience that changed her life. She heard a voice in her head, the words as clear as if speaker was standing beside her. It was that "You must use your life to do good in the world". She was convinced she had heard God. Her mother recommended her to marry, but Nightingale wouldn't listen her saying. After she worked at hospitals, she always did everything for patients to help. So she was loved by everyone. From that, Queen Victoria delighted with Nightingale's hard work, sent her a magnificent brooch with thaks. But Nightingale wouldn't pay no attention to the glory. She thought about other people and things than herself. So I think that she is still respeced by everyone.

I read a book whose title is "Stories of Santa". This was a very cute story. In one town, there was the home Santa's toy factory. His team of tiny elves was hard at work, who had a different job. But there was a elf was always sleeping during work. He was scolded by Santa, so he wandered around the factory. But he fell into the magical machine. Surprigingly, dolls like hime came out from the machine then. There were hundreds of dolls, but the dolls were popular toy ever. It was the night before Christmas, a fake Santa appeared. The fake Santa stole children's toys, so Santa beaten him. But the next day after Christmas, there was a mistake. That is a left list. So Santa carried the present a kid, but the present was different color. So he turned back and carried the present again. After he came back home, the elves welcomed him. He and the elves were very kind. I think whether Santa exist or not.

I read a book whose title is "Sleeping Beauty". These paintings in this book are very cute and soft. Many years ago, a king and queen lived in a magical castle, but they didn't have their children. So they always stitched, sewed tiny clothes and made toys. But one day, there was a frog under a queen, and he said to her having a baby soon. Surprigingly, a queen gave birth. They planned a feast to celebrate and send the invitations to seven fairies. On the day of the feast, many guests came to the castle. Seven fairies flew in through the castle window, leaving a glittering trail behind them. And they casted thier spell on a baby named Rose. But a mean fairy appeared and casted a spell on Rose. It was a spell that Rose will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die on her birthday. But the last fairy casted a spell that a true love will break the spell. Time went happily by and Rose's sixteenth birthday drew near. The night of the ball finally arrived. The king and queen smiled proudly as they watched Rose from their thrones. When the feasting was nearly over, Rose pleaded for a game. Hide-and-seek. She raced up twisting stairs and found a heavy iron door at the top of the stairs. Inside there was an old woman with spinning wheel. When she touched the silky thread, she pricked her finger. The old woman was that mean fairy. The fairy stopped all the clocks. For one hundred years, the castle stayed hidden and everyone forgot. One day, a brave prince named Florien rode by. As his sword touched a branch, each sharp thorn became a sweet-smelling rose. And he foun Rose and kissed her soft lips. Then she woke up and everyone also woke up, too. The next day, Rose and Florien married. I think that the true love brought about the beautiful magic.
